Belt Conveyor

The workhorse of any plant. A troughed belt carries bulk material — clinker, sand, ash, grain — while a flat belt moves cartons, crates and components. We size the belt width and speed to your throughput rather than rounding you up to the next catalogue size, which is usually where money gets wasted.

Unit load handling

Roller Conveyor

Gravity roller for a free run downhill, powered roller where you need control. The thing that decides whether a roller conveyor works is roller pitch — a load must always sit on three rollers, so the pitch is set by your smallest box, not your biggest.

Line handling

Slat Chain Conveyor

Where a belt would burn, tear or slip, a slat chain keeps going. Steel slats on a roller chain will carry hot forgings straight off the furnace, take the weight of an engine block, and run wet all day without stretching.

Drag Chain Conveyor

A fully enclosed trough with a chain and flights dragging material along the bottom. Dust stays inside, which is why it is the usual answer for ash, biomass and anything you do not want escaping into the shed.

Screw Conveyor

A rotating flight inside a trough. Simple, sealed and compact — which is why it moves most of the powder in India. Pitch is the lever nobody uses enough: full pitch for a flat run, half pitch the moment you go up an incline or the material gets sticky.

Foundry equipment

Charging Screw Conveyor for Rotary Furnace

Built for one job: getting charge into a rotary furnace without cooking the machine. The flight is hardfaced because the material is abrasive and hot, the trough carries a heat shield at the discharge end, and the drive is sized for starting against a full trough rather than a running one.

Vertical handling

Bucket Elevator

The cheapest way to take bulk material straight up. Centrifugal discharge for free-flowing material at speed, continuous discharge for anything fragile or sluggish. Fill factor is what people get wrong — a starved boot will quietly cost you a third of the rated capacity.

Takes the load in at floor level, lifts it, and delivers it flat at the top — all in one machine, in a footprint about the size of a doorway. The standard answer for feeding a hopper, a packing machine or a mezzanine.

Spiral Conveyor

When the floor is full and you still have to go up, a spiral takes the product round a column instead of along a run. Continuous flow, no transfers, no accumulation — and it holds a surprising amount of product on the tower, which doubles as buffer time.

Oven Conveyor

A conveyor that has to survive the process it runs through. Wire mesh or slat belt in stainless, drive components kept outside the hot zone, and expansion allowed for in the frame so nothing binds when the oven comes up to temperature.

Overhead Conveyor

Hangs the work off the floor and carries it through every stage of a finishing line without anyone touching it. Because the track is a closed loop, the same hanger goes through degreasing, phosphating, drying, coating and curing in one pass.

A conveyor moves material. A feeder controls how much of it moves. Put the wrong one under a hopper and you will spend the rest of the machine's life fighting surges — so the feeder is chosen from the material's behaviour, not from the conveyor downstream.

Flow control

Industrial Dampers

Isolation and flow control for ducting. A butterfly modulates, a guillotine isolates absolutely, a multi-louver balances a large duct without a big pressure drop. The choice is really about how tight the shut-off has to be and how hot the gas is.

Questions we get asked

What capacity conveyor do I need?
Capacity comes from three numbers: the material's bulk density, the throughput you need in tonnes per hour, and the distance it has to travel. Send us those and the available floor space, and we will size it and confirm on a GA drawing. Our free belt and screw conveyor calculators will give you a first estimate before you call.
Which conveyor suits hot foundry sand?
A slat chain conveyor or a drag chain conveyor. A rubber belt will not survive hot sand for long. For furnace charging specifically, a hardfaced charging screw conveyor is the normal choice.
Do you supply food-grade stainless steel conveyors?
Yes. SS 304 for general food contact and SS 316 where there is salt or acid. We build them wash-down: open frames, sloped surfaces, no water traps, and belting in food-grade PU or modular plastic.
What is your delivery time?
One to twelve weeks depending on size and how much of the material is standard. A small roller conveyor can go out in a week or two; a bucket elevator or a full line takes longer. We confirm a date after the GA drawing is approved, not before.
Do you install and commission at site?
Yes — supply, erection, alignment, electrical hook-up and commissioning across India, with an AMC option after handover.
Can you build to our existing plant layout?
That is the normal way we work. Send measured dimensions or let us visit the site. Every machine is made to order, so a non-standard centre distance or an awkward discharge height costs nothing extra in design.
What is the difference between a screw conveyor and a drag chain conveyor?
A screw pushes material along with a rotating flight — compact, sealed, good for powders. A drag chain pulls material along the bottom of an enclosed trough with flights on a chain — better for abrasive, hot or lumpy material, and it handles higher tonnage per unit of wear.
Do you provide spares and annual maintenance?
Yes. We hold drawings for every machine we build, so a replacement shaft, pulley or flight can be made to the original dimensions. AMC covers scheduled inspection, belt tracking, chain tension and drive checks.
